Your Session

Ready to get started? Great! Here's what to know before you come in.

Before your first appointment

Please complete these two confidential forms before you come in. They give Ruth a clear picture of your history and needs, so your session time is spent on you instead of paperwork.

Cancellation policy: missed appointments and cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged the full price of the booked session.

  • Your process typically involves around 12 hours of work, broken into multiple sessions. The exact pacing and total hours may vary depending on individual needs. For out-of-town clients, there are additional scheduling options available to complete the process efficiently.
  • Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of your session. Being well hydrated improves how your body and muscles respond.
  • Dress comfortably. You'll be lying on your back for most of the session, but at times you'll complete tasks such as balancing on one foot, walking a line, and marching.
  • If your session is scheduled for more than three hours, we'll take a lunch break. You can eat at a restaurant, or a microwave and refrigerator are available if you'd like to bring your own food.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany children and teenagers for the entire scheduled time of their first session. Feel free to bring a book, an iPad, or anything to help pass the time.
  • Missed appointments and cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged the full price of the booked session.
  • The Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique is not covered by health insurance, but a Health Savings Account can be used as payment.
  • We accept cash, cash apps (Venmo), checks, credit cards, and HSA/FSA. Payment by cash or venmo is preferred.
