Frequently Asked Questions
What is the root problem?
The Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique addresses malfunctioning and non-functioning pathways in the brain. These errant pathways block the flow of information in the brain, which often presents as issues such as dyslexia, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, behavioral, cognitive, communication, coordination, or emotional difficulties.
What causes brain malfunction?
Early in life, we sometimes experience physically or emotionally traumatic events. During these events, our body instinctively shifts into "fight or flight" mode, refocusing the body's resources and shutting down the corpus callosum (which connects the right and left hemispheres of the brain). Depending on the severity of the traumatic event and the individual, the corpus callosum might fail to re-engage properly after the event has passed.
How does BIT work?
The Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique can correct brain malfunction in cases where there is no organic brain damage in about 12 hours — that's it! No treatment plans, follow-up sessions, or adjustments. Best of all, your integration is permanent. Unless you have another significant trauma, your brain will stay integrated for the rest of your life!
Will this treatment affect my creativity?
No. An ADD brain often seems more creative because an individual with ADD has more access to the creative hemisphere of the brain than to the logic hemisphere. With BIT, people with ADD/ADHD become more focused and effective, because BIT opens up access to the logic hemisphere.
What kind of changes will I see?
Most clients report better sleep, a more relaxed state of being, decreased stress, anxiety and worry, more success in school and work (sometimes quite drastic), a clearer mind, tasks that once were hard becoming easier, improved digestion and health, and more. Please see the reviews for further anecdotal information.
Do you have to do the whole integration at once?
Clients may choose to stretch out the treatment period for any reason. It is recommended that a client finish the main protocol within 3 months of starting, but this is a general guideline.
What age do you have to be? Should I stay with my child during treatment?
Children and adults of any age are candidates for BIT. If your child is 8 years old or younger, plan on staying in the room during the treatment. BIT practitioners are not responsible for unattended children.
How close together should appointments be scheduled?
Appointments are generally scheduled in one of three ways: weekly or bi-weekly, over the course of 2–3 days, or spread out with longer sessions. Your practitioner can help you choose the right path for you.
